Bloggiesta Weekend

Hello Everyone!

This is my first time participating in Bloggiesta and I’m really excited to be doing so. I will try and participate as much as I can, but since I work a full-time job it may not be as often as I’d like. If any of my readers don’t know what Bloggiesta is; it’s a weekend where you can connect with other bloggers, read topics on how you can improve your blog in different ways and come out with a better blog. I’m really excited to read and get to know the different people who are participating in this event. I’m also anxious to read the different posts on how to improve your blog. Which, is something I’m always looking to do! :) So to start off, I decided to make a little to do list on what I hope to accomplish this weekend.

To do list:

-Keep updated with my other fellow bloggers (because of work lately, I have been lacking on this one.)

-Figure out a set schedule to create new post on books.

-Not to forget to share my posts on my social media sites (Facebooks, Twitter) once I’m done posting.

-Fix my Twitter and Facebook Icons so it doesn’t say the sizes when I hover over them.)

-Take the time to read the topic posts on how to improve your blogs in various ways and better my blog on their advice.

-Connect with new bloggers and make new friends!

I know this may sound like a different “to do” list than other bloggers, but it really is a list that I think will help improve my blog. These are the things I need to work on/accomplish (that I think anyways). Good luck to everyone else as they participate in Bloggiesta! Ole!

  1. Ooh, I like the new design! How cute! If you haven’t discovered it yet, I recommend checking out It allows you to post and then it automatically posts the links to Twitter and Facebook, and whatever other social media tools you choose. This way, all you have to do is hit “Publish” and the rest is done for you! I’ve been using it for 6 months or so with no problems (I think I discovered it through a mini-challenge last time).

Have a great weekend! Good luck with your to-do list :)

  2. Yay for first timers!! This is my second Bloggiesta and I’ve loved both of them. :) Just as long as you put your best foot forward you’ll get a lot done and meet a lot of new people.

I can totally help with the last goal, since I’m connecting with new bloggers this weekend too!

  3. Actually, on WP it’s even easier – go to dashboard – settings – sharing and at the top you can connect to a number of social media. When you connect with them your posts will automatically be posted to these as well. :-)

Good luck with Bloggiesta. I hope you’re having a good time.
