Your imagination can lead you anywhere right? That is what Harold does with his purple crayon. Trying to find his way home, he creates boats and different landmarks that help get him there. This book, written by Crockett Johnson, is a great for any child with a soaring imaginations. I remember reading this book when I was little and thought of many different things I could do if everything we drew came right to life. Your child will love this book, because it shows them that possiblities are endless. You can do anything you want to do, or be whatever you want to be as long as you let your imagination lead to where you would like to go.
